CAS sustaining membership

The CAS was initially dreamt of by Anaïs Duplan as a two-year project, born out of love and a commitment to a thriving future for Black artists. As we celebrate the fifth anniversary of the CAS at its home organization Public Space One this year, we continue to feel and share that love. Sustaining memberships are an integral piece of the work. We hope you’ll consider sharing the love and staying in touch with us by becoming a sustaining member of the CAS with a monthly donation of $5-$50.

Members get access to intimate members-only online events with CAS visiting artists; access to all PS1 facilities, which include the Media Arts Co-op and Iowa City Press Co-op; as well as access to members-only publications, swag, and artist projects throughout the year. Whether you’re based in Iowa City or not, there’s plenty on offer. Memberships are offered on a sliding scale, so you can give what you’re comfortable giving!

You’ll also get the satisfaction of knowing that, as a sustaining member, you’re ensuring that Black artists continue to get the support they need to imagine themselves into the future.
