How Do We Move Forward?

The Oracles teams began these conversations with the charter that 'a mural is not enough' to effect the social change called for by the uprisings in this city and cities across the country two years ago. 2 years later, we are joining with Mazahir Salih of the Center for Worker Justice, Adrien Wing of the UI Center for Human Rights, and Tina Deng of the Wright House of Fashion to take stock of the last two years of care work in Iowa city, address the competing objectives of public art at every level, and explore the future of activist energy in the climate of Iowa City.
